A Morning In Sentosa

What a terrible way to start my Saturday. I woke up for my milk @ 6am this morning. After my milk, I refused to fall asleep on my own – wanted Mommy to pat me to sleep. I kept on asking Mommy to pass me my pillow, to pass me my bloater, to carry me and stand up, then to lie on the mattress again. And I would then ask her to repeat the whole cycle over and over again. If she didn’t do that, I would start to fuss and cry.

Daddy couldn’t stand my “nonsense” any long and took me out of the bedroom into the living room @ 7.10AM. Daddy kept on telling me that Mommy was tired and needed a rest and if I needed someone to carry me he could do so. But obviously the message didn’t get into me at all as I kept on demanding for Mommy. I went on fussing, crying, screaming and kicking. Even NaiNai couldn’t stand my fussing and came out to interlude - but Daddy was determined to prevent me from getting my way.

Finally, Mommy didn’t stand my crying and came out of the bedroom after 15 minutes and tried to comfort me by bringing me back into the bedroom. But Daddy was very determined – he came into the room and ordered Mommy to leave the room or leave the house to buy breakfast. I started to go to and fro the door and Daddy and asked Daddy to open the door to let me out. Seeing that Daddy was very determined, I kept on crying and finally fell asleep on Daddy’s shoulder after 10 minutes… =(

A Date With Gabriel
I woke up at 9.30am to get ready and went downstairs to wait for Uncle Ben to pick us up – Gabriel and I would be going to Sentosa. =)

Our first stop was Siloso Beach. It was a very cloudy day – good day for beach activities as it was very cooling. We had a short panic (with bread, muffin and flesh milk) before we started our activities.

We spent some time in the water and than sometime on the sand. Just when we were enjoying ourselves, the sky got darker and darker and it started to drizzle. Uncle Ben suspected that the rain wouldn’t stop so soon. So, we decided to wash up, change and leave the beach.

Although it was still raining, we still proceeded to the fishpond @ the Orchid Garden. Daddy found a route to drive there so that we didn’t get wet even though it was raining out there. Today was my third time here and Daddy noticed that I was much better in throwing fish food into the water. I even did something daring - I let some of the fishes kissed my fingers. =P

Lunching @ Ikea
Feeling hungry, we decided to leave Sentosa to catch a bite somewhere else. In the end, we went to Ikea for lunch as Aunty Kelly wanted to buy mattress cover for Gabriel. I had (Daddy’s) fried rice with (Mommy’s) salmon and broccoli for lunch.

After lunch, we roamed around the store. There were a lot of people there. I loved the kid/toddle section very much. I especially liked this toddler bed but Daddy said that there wasn’t any space at home for that. =(

I started to feel tired after lunch – started to fuss while Uncle Ben was sending us home. Finally, I fell asleep shortly after getting off the car. It was already 3pm until we reached home and I slept till 5pm.
