A Wet and Wild Afternoon
Breakfast @ Cartel Café
Daddy and Mommy found a new place for breakfast – Cartel Café @ Raffles City. The price of the breakfast set is a bit steep (average of $7+++ per set) but it is still consider reasonable (by Daddy and Mommy’s standard). Mommy ordered an ultimate delight breakfast set which comes with 2 chicken sausages, 2 eggs, 2 french toasts, a pancake and 2 slices of ham. Daddy ordered a Mushroom omelet set, which comes with a hashbrown. All breakfast sets come with free flow of freshly baked bread, a muffin and a cup of tea/coffee.
I had some omelet, chicken sausage, french toast, pancake and muffin and of coz not forgetting my favorite bread… =). Mommy was in a good mood and I had butter (unsalted) to go with my bread… hehe. But best part was that the place was pretty quiet.

Want to join me for breakfast??? =)
A Wild and Wet Afternoon
We had a wild and wet afternoon coz I went to the Wild Wild Wet (WWW) @ Downtown East with Aidan and Keith today. But before that, we dropped by @ Gong Gong’s place. I had a late lunch @ GongGong’s place and left for Downtown East @ around 3.45pm.
Welcome to Wild Wild Wet =)
The sky wasn’t very friendly when we arrived as it threatened us with a very “dark face”. Keith was already there and we decided to go ahead first as Aidan would be late.
We changed into swim wear and Daddy found a life jacket that I could fit into (the smallest one available). While waiting for Keith to get changed, Daddy brought me to have a dip in the Shiok River – it is a “river” that circulates around the parameter and the man-made wave will carry you around it. I wasn’t really keen to float along with the wave. Firstly, I didn’t feel secured when my feet was unable to touch the ground. I clung on to Daddy’s body as if my life depended on it… =P. Secondly, I hated the feeling of having a life jacket strapped onto my body. Since I didn’t like it, Daddy decided to remove the life jacket and moved to a shallower area – the Yakult Prof’s Playground. Aidan arrived by then.
Keith and Aidan
The Yakult Prof’s Playground is design for younger children. There are many shorter and less scary water slides for children, water cannons, ladder and many many more water features. In fact, the slides are colour coded (and I tried all of them… hehe) – yellow (shortest and least challenging), red (a bit more challenging with a bit of tunnel section), green (longer and more tunnel section), purple (the longest and the scariest). I am alright with the slides as long as not too much water got onto my face.
Gu Zhang bought a beach ball for me to play with. I had a great time playing with it until one of the crew from WWW stopped us (they don’t allow us to use our own floats… =( ).
Having fun with the beach ball before I was stopped… =(
I started to get cranky and clingy after sometime in the water and that was when Mommy realized that it was time for my afternoon milk. Mommy dried me up and I had my milk while Daddy and the rest continued to have fun in the water.
It’s milk time…
They came back shortly and we washed up and left for dinner.
Dining @ Sakura
We decided to try out the Sakura international buffet coz Daddy and Mommy never dine there before. The buffet spread is reasonably impressive (considering the fact that it costs $26 per person) – there are oyster, crab, hot plate, sashimi, salmon, shark fin soup, free flow of juice, coffee, desserts and more. Mommy was a very happy lady coz she finally ate some BIG and JUICY oysters… hehe. While the others helped themselves to the delicious buffet spread, I had my leftover home-cooked lunch for dinner. Lucky Mommy wasn’t that mean – she did let me had some of the stuff from the buffet. While I sat quietly throughout the dinner and enjoying the food, the others (Aunty Su Suang and GuGu) were very amazed how I could sat in my highchair for an hour plus and kept on eating bits of food while my two other cousins were fussing… =P.
After that heavy dinner, GuZhang sent us back in his van. It was my first time traveling in a van and Aidan and I were making a lot of noise behind and the adults were complaining non-stop about us… =P.
I was so tired and went to bed soon after Mommy cleaned me up. I have to wake up early tomorrow morning as I had a date with some of my friends.
