Happy Mother's Day =)

Happy Mother’s Day to all the mummies out there. =)

Session 3 @ GUG
I had my Session 3 @ GUG today. Today’s letter was ‘S’. Teacher Evelyn brought out a snake (a toy snake of coz) – an animal that begins with the letter ‘S’. I was introduced to the Sun (which also begins with ‘S’) and I got a star drawn onto my hand (I even “show off” the star to Daddy after the lesson… hehe). For arts and crafts, I made a magical footprint with some form of dough and stardust.

There was some Mother’s Day celebration going on in United Square. I could see many Aunties and Uncles dancing below when I came out of the classroom (they kind of looked like BIG ants from above here… =P). Daddy said that they were doing some line dance.
“Looked Mommy…”

In the “limelight”

We didn’t hang around for too long as we needed to go home to get ready for Mother’s Day dinner. We did walk past an electrical piano fair while we were on our way out. Mommy was tempted to buy me one but Daddy didn’t approve that.
Testing out the piano (even though budget not approved)

Oh ya, I took Ernie and Bert for a ride today… =P. I never knew kiddy ride is so scary when it starts to move. Think I still prefer a stationary ride… hehe.

Mother’s Day Dinner @ Sanur
Waiting for GuZhang to pick us up

Instead of the usual Chinese dinner Mother’s Day dinner, we had Indonesian food this year. We went to Sanur Indonesian Restaurant (@ CentrePoint) to celebrate Mother’s Day for three mummies (NaiNai, GuGu and Mommy of coz). At first Daddy wanted to go to the one @ Suntec but it was fully booked. The second choice was the outlet @ Ngee Ann City but they had slots for 6pm or 8.30pm. In the end, he finally got a 7pm reservation @ CentrePoint (it seems like not many people are aware of this outlet).

I had my first taste of keropok (cracker)… it was really yummy. I kept on snatching Mommy’s half eaten keropok from her hand. Now, I am able to self-fed most of my dinner even when I am outside. For dinner, I had white rice with sayur lodeh (curry veg) (rinsed with water), tahu telor (deep-fried bean curb) and egg from gado-gado (Indonesian style salad). As for dessert, I had red beans from Mommy’s chendol. Aidan was busy boy too – but busy running around instead. =P
