Our Journey: Family Day @ Sentosa

Family Day @ Sentosa
Daddy drove us into Sentosa early this morning. We were going to the Palawan beach @ Sentosa coz today was Daddy’s company’s family day.

As we went making our way to this big tent on the beach, we saw this 2 mascots right in front of it – a purple dragon and an orange bear. I shook hand with both of them and had my photo taken. I was kind of wary of them and kept looking at them, trying to maintain some distance away from them.

There were many people and kids around. But I didn’t mixed around with them coz most of them were much older than me. They even organized some telematch but it was way too advanced for me. It was getting boring for me. Luckily, Daddy brought my sand castle kit along.

Finally, I managed to warm up after the lunch (had Mommy’s home-cooked pasta for lunch). There were free flow of candy floss and pop corn for everyone. Daddy wanted to let me try the candy floss but the big lump of candy floss looked so fluffy and scary. I kept on saying “No… No… Daddy eat… Daddy eat…”.

There was an uncle sketching caricatures. Mommy wanted to get one for mine but the problem was that I was required to sit still for at least 5 minutes. Daddy and Mommy tried all means to get me seated (with cheese cube, Yakult and pop corn). From time to time, Daddy tried to make me looked at that uncle who was sketching me. I think he probably had the hardest time in trying to get my caricature done… =P. The end result wasn’t really great but it was free anyway… hehe.

There was even a magic show performed by Sweetheart the clown. All the kids were so excited to see her. However, I just sat on Daddy’s lap and looked expressionlessly at her. I was just too tired and I didn’t understand what she was doing at all. But Mommy was enjoying herself and was laughing happily too.

The event was finally ended at 2pm and we made our way to the fish pond (at the Orchid Garden) as Daddy promised to bring me there to feed the fishes. I lit up with joy when I was there… =). All of the fishes swam to us when we reached there coz they knew that the food was coming. I had a great time there… hehe.

It was way past my nap time when we finally left Sentosa and I fell asleep immediately when I sat in the car seat.

Daddy brought me down to the playground again – to warm me up a bit after two hours plus of nap.

There were two JieJies and a DiDi there. I played with them for awhile. I am still very shy when other kids approach me to play, I am interested in playing with them but still wary of them and maintain my distance away from them. The two JieJies were fine but that DiDi was very annoying as he kept on calling me MeiMei just because I am smaller in size… =(.
