Happy Hari Raya!
Today is another public holiday. I got to stay at home with Daddy and Mommy again… =)
It was also a bright and sunny morning - the sky wasn’t hazy like last few days. And Daddy thought that it was a wonderful day to get wet. We packed our bags and hopped into the car and we were on our way for a dip – but no one asked for my opinion.
We travelled half way across the island to the Jurong East Swimming Complex coz they (almost) have the facilities of a water-themed park but charges public pool entrance fee (Normal: $1.50 for adult, $0.80 for children and Sat/Sun/Public Holidays: $2 for adult, $1 for children).

My swimming costume fits nicely now
After getting me into my swimming costume, Daddy and Mommy then discovered that I wasn’t in the mood for a swim/dip. They took turns to con me – by telling me how nice was the water, how much fun the rest of the JieJies and KorKors were having. Mommy even took me to explore the toddler area but it didn’t work as well. But I simply refused to get myself into the cold water – clinging on to Daddy/Mommy as if my life depended on it. I even pulled out my trump card – claiming that I wanted to sleep. After half an hour of conning, I still refused to give in. Seeing that we were going nowhere, Daddy and Mommy finally gave in and we went to wash up and change.
I was so happy that I got my way and my acting (trying to sleep) was over the moment we stepped out of the swimming complex – I was as lively as a dragon again… =P. But there was a bad news waiting for me - I overheard that Daddy is going to start my water familiarization again.
On our way to the car, Daddy saw a little playground beside the HDB block and I spent a short while there – playing with the slide and practicing my climbing skill on the ladder.
I love slide… =)
Unfortunately, I had a minor accident at that playground. While I was on a higher slide, Mommy failed to realize that I was sliding too fast. I didn’t stop in time at the end of the slide and fell onto the ground (off a height of 15cm~20cm). But Daddy and Mommy were shocked as it happened too fast. I cried for a short while but nothing too serious - only suffered some light scratched on both knees.
After that fall, Daddy decided to call it a day. He wanted to have lunch before heading home but too late – I was feeling sleepy and eventually fell asleep in the car.
I had a great nap and spent the rest of the holiday lazing at home. With nothing to do, I decided to decorate one of my stuffed toy with the stickers Daddy bought for me… =P.
My masterpiece… hehe
