A New Semester @ GUG

New Semester @ GUG
Today marked my new semester @ GUG. I am attending the toddler class at 9.30am (for the next 7 weeks). Mommy felt that it was a much better timing – we still can do something constructive after my lesson ends at 11am.

The prefect scenario will be:
8.00am – I wake up and prepare for lesson
8.30am – We leave for United Square
9.00am – We arrive @ United Square and have breakfast
9.30am – Lesson commences
11.00am – Lesson ends and I can have my milk and morning nap
But I woke up @ 7.00am this morning instead… =P

We had our breakfast @ Uncle Donald’s place as planned – I had big breakfast and hotcakes.

The Lesson
As it was a new semester at a new timeslot, I got to meet a lot of new friends today (even the teachers were new as well).

And we started off with arts and crafts session first instead of the usual alphabets session. I was required to “make” a doctor’s bag that the teachers had shown us slightly earlier. Daddy helped me to apply the glue while I was in-charge-of sticking the items onto the bag.

For the alphabets session, today’s letter was ‘Y’ and today’s animal was yak (an animal with a pair of long horns). Towards the end of the session, I started to get clingy coz it was about time for my milk and morning nap. We went home straight after the lesson. True enough, I started to get cranky in the taxi. And upon reaching home, I got my milk and knocked out for 2 hours plus straight.

The change of schedule didn’t work out well today coz Daddy and Mommy still ended up getting their lunch from the nearby hawker center just like any other Sundays.

Another Afternoon @ Home
The rest of the afternoon was spent @ home. I only went downstairs for grocery shopping in the late afternoon and to get Daddy and Mommy’s dinner (coz NaiNai wasn’t @ home this night as she went out to attend a church wedding). Today was one of those rare days that I had 2 home-cooked meals – sweet potato-based noodle (prepared by Mommy) for lunch and fried rice (prepared by Daddy) for dinner.
