Feverish Wednesday
I gave Daddy and Mommy a HUGE scare today.
Nanny called Mommy after noon to inform her that I was developing high fever and she didn’t have any paracetamol with her (the bottle in the fridge was more than 3 months old). She was actually on medical leave today and it was really a blessing in disguise. She quickly came over to Nanny’s place – armed with a bottle of paracetamol and an ear thermometer.
Mommy got a HUGE shock when she saw that my temperature was a burning 39.8 degree. Immediately, she activated NaiNai to bring down the Voltaren suppository. In the meanwhile, she gave me a dose of the paracetamol and kept on sponging me (even though I was screaming and fussing).
It was very crowded at Nanny’s place this afternoon – with the additional of Mommy and NaiNai. Mommy managed to give me the Voltaren. And my temperature began to drop gradually. Mommy stayed on to monitor my condition until I fell asleep for my afternoon nap.
