The World Cup Fever Is Here

The World Cup fever is here, have you felt it? I am sure Daddy will be sacrifying a lot of sleep over this period. He even mentioned that he will be “training” me to catch the next World Cup with him. *faint*

Visiting GongGong
It had been 3 weeks since we last visited GongGong. And we left much earlier today at around 10.30am.

All dressed up with YiYi’s new dress and ready to go… =)

YiYi wasn’t around when we arrived. Her friend was getting married today and she was helping her. But she did leave me some goodies - a pooh bear, a pair of shoes and a set of cloth… =).

Daddy and Mommy didn’t prepare my lunch today. I had Daddy’s mixed veggie rice (steamed egg, potato, bean curb and cai xin). He also bought some paos to standby just in case I didn’t want the rice. We went back home at around 3pm coz we had program later on in the evening.

Visiting Aunty XuanYan
We went over to Aunty XuanYan’s new place for a potluck session. NaiNai prepared fried bee hoon, prawn fritter and ice jelly dessert for us to bring over. The ride to Sembawang was very long and we were very lucky to flag down a Mercedes. The ride was very comfortable – so comfortable that I felt asleep on Daddy’s lap just when we were reaching our destination.

When I woke up, I found myself on the sofa with a lot of Uncles and Aunties around. And I got very cranky and clingy – how would you feel when you woke up and found yourself in an unfamiliar place with so many unfamiliar faces around? It took me a long while before I was willing to come down and walk around the place.

Fortunately, KaiJie KorKor was there too. Aunty QingLi and KaiJie KorKor entertained me. While Daddy continued his soccer watching and Mommy continued her chit chatting. Finally, we went at around 9.30pm with Yvonne JieJie giving us a lift home.

Falling Asleep In NaiNai’s Room
Recently I started to fall asleep in NaiNai’s room while listening to the “Walking Through The Jungle” CD. It had become a routine for me and I was rather comfortable with such arrangement. Daddy and Mommy were more than delighted. Daddy even commented that he should consider giving NaiNai diaper changing and milk making training. I think they are having this “evil” thought of dumping me @ home with NaiNai and go out to enjoy without me… =(
