Mid Autumn Celebration

Today is Mid Autumn Festival. Daddy and Mommy picked me up slightly earlier than usual as we would be going to NaiNai church’s Mid Autumn Festival celebration @ Kreta Ayer People’s Theatre.

Keith and Aidan were here as well. Each of us had a lantern in our hand – Keith was carrying a Doraemon (with a fan inside), I lent my giraffe lantern to Aidan as GuGu complained that Aidan’s lantern was too big for her to bring over and mine was a flower basket. Keith was more interested in Aidan’s and my lantern. He did offer his lantern in exchange and Aidan happily accepted it. Later on, Keith attempted to exchange my lantern but I refused him no matter how hard he tried… =P.

We took a bus there as the area would be crowded with people coz there was some form of celebration in Chinatown as well.

The Concert
The concert was so boring that I felt like sleeping and it was amazing that I could stay seated for more than an hour. Lucky Daddy rescued me by bring me outside for a walk and to look at those colourful lanterns. But it was really hazy outside.

So bored…

The concert ended shortly after I came out. Daddy thought of bringing me around Chinatown to look at the lightings but Mommy thought otherwise. She thought that I might want to sleep soon and it was rather hazy. In the end, we walked back home with me falling asleep on Daddy’s shoulder.
