Shopping For A New TV
The haze was rather bad last night and I woke up feeling little unwell this morning – slight cough with a runny nose. The TV in the living room has been down for few days and Daddy felt that today was a good day to go out to hunt for a new TV since we didn’t have any program. Besides, Harvey Norman and BIG were having promotion this weekend. NaiNai tagged along as well.
Our first stop was HarbourFront Centre coz Daddy wanted to check up the offer from BIG since it is much nearer to our house. BIG was rather empty – I guessed either it was still early (we arrived @ 11am plus) or most people had gone to the newly opened Vivo City.
It was really amazing to see that they are selling everything – furniture, IT products, household appliances, audio/video products and baby/toddler products. I was attracted by the car and toy in the baby/children section and didn’t want to leave. Daddy decided to proceed ahead to check out the TV while Mommy and NaiNai stayed with me in the baby/children section.

So much toys to play with
I couldn’t believe that we spent a full two hours there looking for TV. There were too many models to choose from and the salesman uncle kept introducing better models to us. And the salesman Uncle was really a good salesman coz Daddy bought two LCD TVs instead of one – 1 for the living room and 1 for the bedroom. It was sure tiring for me and I wasn’t feeling very well. So, Daddy and Mommy decided to skip lunch and headed straight for home. Eventually, I fell asleep in the car. However, my nap lasted only an hour (instead of the expected two hours). And I caught NaiNai off guard as she was babysitting me while Daddy and Mommy were washing the car downstairs.
We spent the rest of the day indoor as the haze was really bad. We even called off the swim with Aidan as I wasn’t feeling too well.
