Picnic @ Botanic Garden (Again)
Breakfast @ Tiong Bahru Market
We accompanied NaiNai to her routine shopping trip again this morning. While NaiNai went around doing her shopping, we went to the hawker center to settle down. Mommy wanted to eat Lor Mee while Daddy wanted fried carrot cake. The queues for both were very long (wonder why adults like to queue so much). By the time NaiNai finished her shopping, Daddy just bought the Lor Mee (while Mommy was still in the queue for the carrot cake). In the end, Mommy spent around 30 minutes in the queue. I had a bit of the carrot cake, it wasn’t really very great – I still preferred my tau sar pao… hehe. But one tau sar pao wasn’t enough to fill my stomach, so Mommy bought me a muffin when we went back home.
Back To Tampines
We made a trip back to Tampines around noon. I was kind of tired and felt asleep in the car. Mommy thought that it was a good arrangement so that I could take my nap at GongGong’s place. Then we could leave at around 2pm to drive YiYi and GongGong down to Tanglin Mall as YiYi rented a lot at the flea market. But I woke up as soon as Daddy parked.
Daddy was very amazed by GongGong’s ability to squeeze all 7 boxes (given the small boot area it has) into the car. On top of that, all of us (4 adults plus a toddler in a car seat) managed to squeeze in as well.
After dropping off YiYi and GongGong, we went home straight as Mommy wanted me to catch some sleep before the date with my two cousins – we would be going to Singapore Botanic Garden for a picnic later in the afternoon.

Back @ the Botanic Garden
We were back in Singapore Botanic garden again (but with Aidan and Keith instead). And all the three NaiNais were there – my NaiNai, Aidan’s NaiNai and Keith’s NaiNai. Keith arrived much later than us as he had lesson before this.

This time round, I didn’t run around too much. Instead, we went to feed the fishes and tortoise in the Symphony Lake (which I missed out during the previous visit). There were so many fishes and tortoise inside. GuGu brought a loaf of bread for us to feed them ad we shared with some other KorKors and JieJies there.

We brought a lot of food there (too much for us to finish in fact). There were fried bee hoon, fried udon, fishball, sotong ball, fish cake, muffin, fruits and even KFC. However, I wasn’t allowed to eat much of the stuff. I did snack a little before my dinner – cherry, fish cake and cheese cube. For dinner, I had fried rice with steamed fish.
So much food but I couldn’t eat most of them… =(

On a side note, Daddy was so “lucky” today that he received some “gift” from the birds in the park – not once but twice.
