Happy Birthday Singapore!!!

Today is a Wednesday and a public holiday – it is our national’s birthday. =)

Morning @ Suntec City
We went to Suntec City early in the morning to have breakfast (but the main objective was to do some shopping @ Carrefour). Mommy wanted to go there early to avoid the crowd. When we arrived at Suntec City, Mommy was so surprised to see a small crowd already gathering in front of Carrefour. Then we realized that some celebration (for National Day) was going on @ Carrefour and they were giving out free breakfast (of croissant with coffee/tea) to the shoppers.

However, we went to the foodcourt for our breakfast instead. There wasn’t much to choose from, I ended up having fried bee hoon with fish cake.

Want a lift???

We spent the rest of the morning shopping @ Carrefour. Daddy received a voucher of $20 after spending $50. However, that $20 voucher could only be used with a minimum purchase of $100. In the end, we ended up walked around the place for another hour plus so that we could chalk up $100 in order to use that voucher.

I didn’t realize that shopping was such a tiring exercise. I walked around until I was so tired that I fell asleep on Mommy’s shoulder. Mommy decided to carry me to the car first while Daddy paid for the purchases.

Fireworks Watching
I had an appointment with Sharwyn and gang for National Day Celebration fireworks watching session. But I wasn’t feeling very well and was rather cranky due to the lack of nap (coz I took only ½ hour of nap and was interrupted by Daddy). In the end, Daddy decided to let me stay at home to catch some sleep coz I would probably spent most of my time sleeping there. And he was spot on, I took another nap at around 4.30pm and managed to wake up at around 6.30pm for dinner.

I managed to see part of the fireworks on TV and it was relatively short (completed to pervious years).
