My First Bak Kut Teh
My Very First Bak Kut Teh
We went to Zion Road Market for breakfast this morning. When we arrived, we were so surprised to see that only one store (selling Bak Kut Teh) was opened in the entire hawker centre. Since all the people there were eating that, Daddy wanted to give it a try. He ordered one serving which came in a claypot and all three of us shared it. And I had my very first Bak Kut Teh… =).

Where’s my Bak Kut Teh?
Session @ GUG
We arrived at United Square much earlier than usual. We even had time to shop around in Cold Storage. Seem like everyone was early this morning as I saw a few of my classmates walking around in the Cold Storage too.
Today’s letter was “I”. Teacher Yani took out some insects (toy insects of coz) from the zoo bag to show us. She also told us that igloo is a structure made of ice. I made a finger puppet (an inchworm) during the arts and crafts session today. Mommy helped me to apply glue on the eyes while I stuck the eyes onto the puppet.
Lunching @ Alexandra Village
We went to Alexandra Village Food Centre to have lunch after my lesson. Mommy entertained me while Daddy went to get the car’s tire patched up – he kena a second nail/screw in that same tire within a month’s time. Mommy tried the well known “Zhen Shan Mei” claypot laksa. I couldn’t taste it coz it is unhealthy for me. I had sliced fish soup with rice instead. For dessert, I had some grass jelly.
Want some grass jelly?
I went home immediately after the lunch and stayed at home for the rest of the day. I had a long 2 hours plus nap.
