New Year Eve Potluck

We were invited to Gabriel’s place for dinner today. After that Christmas party, Aunty Kelly liked NaiNai’s dessert so much that she offered the opportunity to mess up and dirty her place this evening – we were going to her place for a New Year Eve potluck dinner. We would be bringing NaiNai’s dessert and Mommy would be frying bee hoon.

Daddy and Mommy had no intention to go out before our dinner date, so I told Mommy I wanted to do some “painting” and Mommy let me do some finger painting in the living room.

Daddy asked me to pose for a photo

New Year Eve Potluck
We were the first to arrive at Aunty Kelly’s place. Gabriel showed me his toys while we waited for the rest of our friend to arrive.

Soon, my friends arrived one after another – Lavigne and Louisa, Sharwyn and Shaynnen, Athena and Irvin. Sharwyn was extremely pretty today – she came in a nice dress with her hair tied up.

There was plenty of yummy food – fried bee hoon, stewed beef, mixed veggie, curry chicken, fish fillet, spring roll and dessert (ice jelly and konnyaku). Aunty Kelly even prepared some pasta especially for us (the kids). I had some fried bee hoon and pasta together some fish fillet and mixed veggie.

After dinner, Mommy brought the slide to the living room. It proved to be very popular among the kids as everyone took turns to try it. And we really had a great time.

Another highlight (for the kids) of this session was play-doh time. I didn’t realize that my friends like to play with play-doh too. We had such a wonderful time and created a big mess on the floor without noticing it… =P.
It’s play-doh time…

It was ice cream time after play… yummy

It was yet another great session with my friends. We finally left Aunty Kelly’s place at around 10pm.

Spaghetti… Spaghetti… Spaghetti…
“Spaghetti” – the new word I picked up today while Uncle Ben was making “spaghetti” with the play-doh. And I kept on chanting “spaghetti… spaghetti… spaghetti… ” non-stop in the car until Mommy couldn’t stand it… hehe.

Thank you Aunty Kelly and Uncle Ben for hosting the potluck… =).
