A Brand New Year

Today is the first day of the new year 2006 – so exciting, a brand new year, a new chapter =).

A Trip to Marina Square
Daddy and Mommy brought me to a place where they used to frequent when they were much younger – Marina Square. Daddy commented that the whole place looks very different and it has gone through a major facelift. Although there are a lot of small eateries around the mall, Daddy still had a hard time looking for a place for me to have my lunch. In the end, we settled for KFC.

After lunch, we spent some time walking around the mall. Daddy and Mommy took turns to assist me in my walking. I had a lot of fun riding up and down the escalator. There are still many unoccupied stores (we will probably be back here in a few months time again).


With some time to kill, we went over to Suntec City. Suntec City seemed to be a favourite spot for my friends too (coz Daddy saw Aunty Andrea with QingNing and Aunty Chris with Faye but he wasn't able to move fast enough to catch up with them to say hi). While I was playing in Early Learning Center (ELC), I had a pleasant surprise – I saw Aunty KC and RuiYing. RuiYing joined me too. =)

We left shortly coz Daddy and Mommy had to go to NUH to visit a friend.

A Visit to NUH
We met up with Uncle RongYao @ NUH to visit Aunty Mei Yee.

We didn't stay too long coz the room was getting a bit crowded. But we didn't leave immediately as I fell asleep shortly after we left the ward and it was pouring heavily. Daddy, Mommy, Uncle RongYao and Aunty Bell had a drink and some dessert while I took my afternoon nap in my pram.

Hope that Aunty Mei Yee will get well soon.

Mini Self-Feeding
Tonight, I had dinner @ home. And I did a mini self-feeding... hehe. Not too messy coz I had little to feed with. Anyway, I still prefer to use my hand anytime... =P
