1st Playgroup @ Punggol

1st Playgroup @ Punggol
We went out early in the morning again today (@ 9am). Mommy had arranged for me to join the playgroup @ Aunty Sharon's place (which means that I will get to meet some of my little friends – yippee).

The ride to Aunty Sharon's place was pretty long (MRT: Tanjong Pagar to Outram, Outram to Punggol (NEL), then LRT: Punggol to Meridian). It was too early in the morning and the trains were rather empty, not much people to look at so I entertained myself with books and a fan. (Daddy noticed that I am more sociable while I am outside nowadays. I like to touch people while I am on the train which may present an embarrassing moment for Daddy - especially when the person I touched is a JieJie. (They will always turn around and look at Daddy suspiciously... hehe =P))

Attendance: Sharwyn, Justin, Ryhan, Quinn, Gabriel and Me =)
Theme: Fruits (The adults brought different kinds of fruits for us to see, feel, smell, touch and taste)
Playgroup Outline:

1. Sing-a-long session (by Aunty Sharon)
2. Story telling session (by Aunty Kelly)
3. Milk Break
4. Art & craft session (by Aunty Sherlyn & Aunty Apple) – I "made" 2 tomatoes with the help from Mommy
5. Touch and feel session with real fruits - There were starfruit, orange, apple, kiwi, grape, banana, lemon, papaya and strawberry
6. Fruit buffet – My favorite segment of the playground and I ate banana for the very 1st time

Daddy and Mommy didn't join the rest for lunch coz Mommy wanted to go to Punggol Plaza for lunch (Mommy loves the Tom Yum seafood noodle there). I feel so tired and wanted to ZZZZZ when Daddy tried to feed me lunch. In the end, I fell asleep in my pram and I slept throughout the LRT-MRT journey home.

Aunty Xuanyan's Wedding Dinner
My timing was all messed up today – I had a very late lunch @ 3pm and a late nap @ 5.30pm. But Mommy was glad that I still managed to have my second nap of the day.

Aunty Yvonne was very kind to offer us a lift to the hotel. As usual, I had my 3-course dinner (steam egg, mushroom soup and rice) before the actual dinner started while Daddy and Mommy had 8–course dinner. I met a very handsome KorKor – his name is Rafe (Aunty YanLing's boy boy). =P

Aunty XuanYan had a rather special entrance – she actually sang with Uncle Melvin while they marched in. As usual, the dinner was very boring to me. Daddy and Mommy took turns to bring me outside the ballroom for walks.

After the dinner, Aunty Yvonne sent us back. It was way past my bedtime when we reached home and I fussed BIG time before falling asleep.
