My First Birthday

My Birthday Morning
Today is my birthday. Daddy and Mommy bought me another cake. My blur Daddy forgot to let me cut my cake during my party last Saturday, so he bought me another cake to cut – a black forest cake. They sang "Happy Birthday" song again and Mommy helped me with the cake cutting. We ate a little of the cake before we made our way to the zoo.


My First Visit to the Zoo
We reached the zoo @ around 9.15am. This is my first visit to the zoo. The place is very big with a lot of funny looking animals around making funny noises. It was very scary to me so I decided to cling onto Mommy and Daddy as long as I could.


Daddy and Mommy took turns to carry me while we walked around the zoo. Daddy and Mommy wanted to watch the animal show @ the amphitheatre which they have never missed for the past visits. When I cried for my morning milk @ 10am, Daddy decided to let me have it so that I could take a nap after that and they could enjoy a peaceful show @ 10.30am. But there were so many new things around me – how could I possibly fall asleep, right? In the end, I watched the animal show together with Daddy and Mommy. But hor, I didn't find it interesting @ all. I preferred looking @ the KorKors and JieJies around me instead.


After the show, we continued to tour the rest of the zoo. By now, I felt more warmed up and decided to let Daddy held my hands while I walked and tried out my new shoes. Feeling tired, we decided to take a break in one of those air-conditioned shelter. Inside the shelter was a group of funnily dressed JieJies. When I stepped inside, a few of them say that I am "KAWAYI". Daddy explained to me that it means "cute" in Japanese =). After bidding farewell to the group of Japanese JieJies, we made our way to the Children's World Animal Land for the next animal show.


I fell asleep on Daddy's shoulder while we were making our way to the Animal Friends Show @ the Children's World Animal Land. Seeing that I had fallen asleep, Daddy and Mommy decided to give that show a miss and headed towards KFC @ the Children's World Playland for their lunch instead. The timing could not be more perfect because it started to rain soon after we stepped in the KFC. Daddy and Mommy had their lunch in peace while I slept throughout on Daddy's shoulder. I woke up after 45 min of nap. Mommy fed me lunch (had cereal instead of KFC – Mommy said I am still too young to eat KFC).


After my lunch, we spent some time in the playground. I saw the swing played by Sharwyn JieJie and Justin KorKor and they looked very cute in the swing. Hence, I had my maiden swinging session too. Daddy said that he buay tahan coz I even need time to warm up while I was on the swing – I only started to enjoy myself after awhile. =P


After playing for awhile @ the playground, Daddy and Mommy decided to call it a day and start to make our way back. While we were walking back to the main entrance of the zoo, Mommy saw this Wishing Well and asked me to throw a coin into the well and made a wish. I wished for... erm Daddy says can't tell, if not the wish will not can true. =P


Today, I rode on a giraffe, made friends with 2 sea lions, wanted to befriend a baboon (but he didn't acknowledge me), battled and escaped from a crocodile – what a tiring day for me......
