YiXin's Full Month Celebration

Do I look sick? Well, I woke up having slightly fever this morning. Immediately, Mommy fed me a dose of paracetamol and sponged me with cool water. Mommy suspected that this fever issue was due to the MMR injection.

I took another morning nap @ 9am which was very uncharacteristic of me (I seldom required another nap less than 2 hours after waking up from one). Mommy suspected that it was due to the medicine that I had taken.

Visiting GongGong @ Tampines
We left for Tampines @ around 1pm. Since it was still early to have my lunch, Daddy packed my lunch (and dinner) out. The weather was too warm and we took a taxi to Tampines. I started to fuss once I stepped into the taxi. To distract me, Mommy started reading story book and flashing flash cards to me. After awhile, Mommy noticed that I was too quiet, so she took a look at me. To her special, she discovered that I was…………… dozing off (and felt asleep eventually). It was so unbelievable.



This was the most peaceful taxi ride that Mommy had coz she didn’t need to entertain me with her reading. I slept throughout the journey and continued to sleep after I reached GongGong’s place.

When I wore up, it was already 3pm and that was where I had my late lunch. We left shortly after my lunch coz Daddy needed to visit Aunty Susan and it was getting late.

YiXin’s Full Month Celebration
It was around 4.30pm when we arrived at Aunty Susan’s place. By then, most of Daddy’s friends had already came and left (only Uncle Rongyao and Aunty Bell was around).

Today is Aunty Susan’s new born baby girl full-month celebration. Her name is YiXin (懿芯). Now I have another MeiMei to play with (other than Renee MeiMei). Speaking about Renee, Uncle Dennis wasn’t here today and missed the opportunity to meet up with her today.

Anyway, there were many KorKors here today. But I wasn’t keen on playing with them coz all of them were running around and Daddy said that I shouldn’t be running around too much coz I am a girl… hehe. There was a big fish tank there and Daddy lifted me up for a better view. I enjoyed looking @ the fishes swimming around in the tank and Daddy wondered if it would be a nice idea to get me some fishes to look at @ home.

Eu Yan Sang Sale @ PS
After bidding farewell to Aunty Susan @ around 6pm, Mommy suggested going down to Plaza Singapura (PS) for our dinner and to catch the opening sale of Eu Yan Sang.

It was really crowded there (even the queue for the carpark outside was very long). Everyone was holding on to baskets of Eu Yan Sang products (as if everything was free… hehe). Mommy asked Daddy to bring me to walk around while she searched for the items that she wanted.
It was fun running around and looking @ people through the glass panels. After a while, I was feeling tired and refused to walk any more. So, Daddy carried me and I felt asleep on Daddy’s shoulder shortly. Mommy couldn’t believe it when she saw it (that was my third nap of the day).
At first Daddy and Mommy wanted to sit down, have a drink and wait until I woke up to have dinner together. After sitting in Burger King for a while, Daddy was feeling comfortable with me sleeping on his lap. And he sensed that I wasn’t really comfortable as well. Furthermore, Daddy was sure what time I would wake up – what happened if I didn’t and slept all the way until next morning? =P

In the end, Daddy and Mommy decided to pack back and go home to have their dinner instead. And I woke up shortly the moment Daddy stepped out of the lift. It was a late dinner for me too @ 8.30pm.

What a day!!!
