My Turn To Visit My Friends

A few uncles and aunties (Daddy’s friends) came over to our humble home for lunch. Uncle Dennis and Aunty Jenny (with Renee MeiMei), Uncle Allen and Uncle Jamie with Aunty MeiLing were here.

Mommy attempted to carry Renee MeiMei and I wasn’t too happy about that. I cried BIG TIME and Mommy didn’t dare to try that again… =P

A New Trick
I “show off” a new trick I picked up while we were waiting for the lift. I smiled when Mommy said “smile”. Daddy and Mommy were so excited over this (adults are so easy to please… =P). They tested me over and over again to make sure that that was not a fluke. I even smiled for a picture.

Visiting Sharwyn @ Punggol
Finally it was my turn to visit my friends today. Aunty Sharon, Uncle Eric and Sharwyn invited us (and a couple of my friends) to their home for a simple gathering. Due to my late morning nap, my lunch was consumed @ Sharwyn’s house.

Athena, Rhyan, “Hurricane” Kieran, Faye, YingXin, Gabriel and Sharwyn (of coz) were there. I met a new friend too – Ethan (he came back from UK for a short visit). I was delighted to see so many of my friends there. All of us were happily running around and playing with Sharwyn’s toys. (Daddy's apology for not able to capture any picture of Faye)

There were two popular items @ Sharwyn’s place: 1) this tiny sofa and 2) this little purple dino called “Barney”.

I like Sharwyn’s sofa very much too (*hint* *hint*)… hehe.

Dinner @ HarbourFront
We left Sharwyn’s place @ around 6pm. Daddy and Mommy were wondering where they could stop along the NEL for dinner. After much consideration and discussion, they settled for HarbourFront Center. Mommy recommended Breeks coz she likes the fries waffle there. Daddy had fish ‘n’ chips while Mommy had ham and cheese sandwiches. Me? I had home-cooked pasta lor.

After dinner, I required a change of diaper. Daddy was shocked to discover that he couldn’t find a proper baby changer in HarbourFront Center. He asked the Manager of Breeks, he pointed to Level 1 toilet but Daddy couldn’t find any there. Then Daddy asked the cleaner there, he pointed to Level 2 (Lobby A) toilet but Daddy couldn’t find any there either. He spotted a lady cleaner in the ladies and he asked Mommy to ask her for assistance, she just pointed to the platform beside her in the ladies. In the end, Mommy had to change my diaper on that cold and hard platform. Daddy just simply couldn’t believe that there isn’t a proper baby changer in the WHOLE building.

We went home immediately after that coz Daddy and Mommy need to go back to work tomorrow. While on the bus, I picked up a new word – “Baby”. Daddy and Mommy were very happy… hehe.

It had been a four long days of CNY break. I went out everyday and collected lots of Ang Bao… hehe. It was a pity that I could not taste all those yummy CNY goodies.

My 2nd Day of CNY

Mommy woke up very early this morning (while Daddy and I were still in our dreamland). She fixed up a tomato and cheese omelette for breakfast… yummy. It was so tasty that I refused my cereal. Daddy had to put a bit of the omelette in every single spoonful of cereal to entice me into finish my cereal =P.

Visiting Great Grand Mum @ Toa Payoh

2nd day of CNY is always spent @ Great Grand Mum’s place where everyone will gather for a steamboat lunch. Mommy will always be there early to help out. We were among the early birds (but Mommy’s involvement was minimum coz Daddy banned her from washing as her hand is allergic to certain chemicals in the washing liquid).

Mommy spent most of the time entertaining me while Daddy was playing Mahjong with Grand Uncles and Aunty (tasked by Mommy coz they didn’t have enough “legs”). I didn’t managed to walk around too much coz the whole place was really crowded. Two other little JieJies (actually one of them is my little aunty) were present and I played with them for awhile. Mommy didn’t really want me to play too much coz I had not taken my morning nap yet (it was going to be 1.30pm soon). I couldn’t sleep coz I was hungry lah. In the end, Daddy managed to highlight that to Mommy. I finally fell asleep with a full stomach and Daddy and Mommy could have their lunch in peace as well.

I slept for around 1 ½ hours. It was around 5pm when we left for Woodlands.

Visiting God-Grand Mum @ Woodlands
Second and final stop of the day was Daddy’s God-Mum’s place @ Woodlands. And Mommy fulfilled her wish of riding in a Mercedes cab (Mommy also mentioned that she could see many Mercedes cab on the road but she had yet to flag down any). Today she got her wish… hehe.

I had a lot of fun @ God-Grand Mum’s place coz Keith KorKor brought his toys over and there were four KorKors (Keith, Aidan, YiChong and HongJun) to play with me. But our interaction was limited coz they were to violent and rough (coz they are boys). I could only watch by the side of the mattress when they jumped up and down on it. But it was far more interesting than the previous CNY visits (coz all the other KorKors and JieJies are much older than me).


I had the same stuff (as lunch) for dinner while the adults had NaiNai’s famous curry fish head for dinner. I wonder when can I start eating all those yummy adult food???

It was a long day for me as we reached home @ around 9.30pm. Time for me to ZZZZZZZZZ...

Gong Xi Gong Xi

Visiting GongGong @ Tampines
Today is the first day of the CNY. We visited GongGong in the morning. Daddy and Mommy didn't usually visit GongGong on 1st day of CNY in the morning. The order of visit was reversed this year coz NaiNai needed to attend church service in the morning.

In the end, we were the 1st to arrive this year (Daddy and Mommy were usually the last to arrive in the previous years). I was kind of sleepy and I took my morning nap after I had my milk. Before I dozed off, I could hear Mommy scolding YiYi and GongGong (better take my nap and don't be a KP else I kena too).

Everyone were here when I woke up from my LOOOONG nap (2 ½ hr – my personal record so far... hehe). There were so many Aunties and Uncles around – everyone was trying to carry me away from Mommy (of coz I would never let that happened). I was the center of attraction... hehe. But it was kind of boring coz I had no one around my age to play with. All I did was to go around and "show off" my newly acquired walking skill.

I was offered CNY goodies by many people but Daddy turned them down – so sad.

Visiting Great Grandaunt @ CCK
We left GongGong's place @ around 3pm to pick NaiNai up @ Yew Tee MRT Station. This year round, we were the last to arrive @ Great Grandaunt's place. There were a lot of young Aunties and Uncles there. Needless to say, I was the center of attraction again... hehe.

It was also very boring here coz there wasn't any one around my age. But I did start to walk around and explore this new place after some time. Grand Aunt was so kind that she dug out Uncle's bowling pins and played with me.

Oh ya, I tasted little bit of love letters over here... yummy.

Mommy didn't bring my dinner out today, so we didn't stay for too long and return to home for dinner. We had problems getting a taxi and took MRT home instead.

CNY Eve And Reunion Dinner

Are you in your CNY mood? Well, I was after Mommy dressed me up like a BIG Ang Bao. And I had a new CNY hair makeover. Mommy commented that my hair is still too short and that was the best she could do.

Anyway, we went back to GongGong's place in the afternoon. Mommy went off with GongGong and YiYi immediately after reaching there, leaving Daddy and me behind to accompany TaiMa. There wasn't anything much to do there. Daddy ran out of idea of what to do with me. When he was about to bring me downstairs to take a walk, Mommy returned (Daddy was so relieved).

We had an early reunion dinner with GongGong and YiYi. I ate some white rice (and nothing else coz Daddy and Mommy say that there wasn't anything suitable for me to eat... =(

My Reunion Dinner
After the early dinner dinner, we rushed home so that Daddy and Mommy could help NaiNai in preparing the reunion dinner. I was a BIG help too (by taking my afternoon nap... hehe).

When I woke up, everyone was here (GuGu, GuZhang and Aidan). There was a spread of yummy food on the table (prawn, sotong, chicken, pork, cod fish, salmon, sauage, mushroom, "phang cai", "bai cai", fishball, meatball, fish maw, scallop, quail egg) but the bad news was that I didn't have a share in that... =(.

I did join the table for the reunion dinner but the adults were having steamboat and hot plate while I had my usual dinner. Daddy promised that I will join them having the steamboat and hot plate next year (he better remember that).

New Clothes for New Year
Mommy said that New Year must wear new clothes. I changed into my new pyjamas after dinner. And I received my very first Ang Bao from NaiNai. NaiNai said that 压岁钱 should be given on CNY eve which is the blessing from the elders to the child.

CNY Is Coming

Chinese New Year is just around the corner and Nanny bought me a new dress for CNY. She dressed me up in the new dress while I was waiting for Daddy and Mommy to pick me up after their work.

Daddy and Mommy liked this dress too. What do you think?

New Shoes For CNY

Lesson @ Kindermusik
I enjoyed today's class very much (unlike last lesson when I was pretty cranky). In the class, I walked all over the classroom (and fell a lot as well). Daddy and Mommy wasn't too worried when I fell coz the whole room was carpeted. I especially enjoyed the part with the parachute, I crawled under the parachute with a few of my classmates and we really enjoyed it... hehe.

New Shoes for CNY
We went to Cholettee after my lesson and a few pair of shoes caught Daddy and Mommy's eyes. But it was kind of disappointing coz they didn't have my size in my favourite pink (even the other outlet in Great World City didn't have them... =( ). In the end, Daddy and Mommy bought this pair of shoes for me. Well, at least I have a pair of new shoes for CNY... hehe. And Thank You Aunty Kelly =).

Oh ya... NaiNai bought me a pair of slippers today as well.

What's that? Have you figured out yet? No? Well, that is my shoe lah. I took the pictures with Daddy's phone camera while on the taxi just now. Artistic??? He He....

New Fish For Dinner
I love fish and I have fish almost every single meal. But the fish I ate tonight was a bit different from the rest coz it was reddish in colour (Mommy said that it is salmon). I didn't really bother what was that as long as it tasted yummy. =P

Development Updates

• Able to walk more steady (even when outside)

Visiting GongGong @ Tampines
Anyway, we went back to Tampines to visit GongGong in the afternoon. And we brought a lot of CNY goodies back as well (3 big bags). And didn't know why Mommy was so fierce when she was back there (I think YiYi did something to make Mommy angry). I had never seen Mommy looked and sounded so fierce before.
From now on, my visit to Tampines will not be so boring liao (coz Daddy and Mommy had brought some of my toys over... YEAH).

Dinner @ BK
I was supposed to have a "date" (go Chinatown to have a walk) with Gabriel tonight but he couldn't make it. In the end, we went to BK @ Amara Hotel for dinner (coz the weather didn't look good and Daddy and Mommy didn't want to wonder too far away).

I have started to walk more freely without any assistance when I am outside. But it still depends greatly on my mood... hehe. I was in a good mood to walk around tonight. =)
